    Señor Jesucristo,
    te pido que me concedas
    dos gracias antes de
    que yo muera.
    La primera, que yo llegue a sentir,
    en cuando sea posible,
    en mi alma y en mi cuerpo,
    los dolores que Tú padeciste
    a lo largo de tu amarguísima pasión.
    La segunda, que yo sienta en mi corazón,
    en cuanto sea posible,
    el extremado amor en que
    te abrazaste, Tú, el Hijo de Dios,
    y que te llevó a sufrir gustosamente
    tan atroces tormentos por nosotros
    miserables pecadores.
